PADI Open Water Diver

If you have ever wanted to explore the underwater world and not be confined to how long you can hold your breath, the PADI Open Water Diver course is for you.

On completion, you will be certified to dive to depths up to 18m, anywhere around the world.

The Open Water Diver course consists of 3 components:

1. Theory

Good news. You no longer need to read a book to learn the theory part of the open water course. We have videos that explain everything in much more interesting way. Also you can do the theory before you arrive, so once you are here, it is just the diving left to do thanks to Elearning.

The theory consists of 5 sections, that all have their own video that runs for about 30 minutes. Once you have competed the video for that section, you answer some knowledge review questions and a 10 question, multiple choice quiz. Once all sections are complete, you do a final exam, but don't worry, if you were able to answer the quiz questions, you will have no problem with the final exam.

We will give you a review questionnaire when you are in the dive center to make sure you have a thorough understanding of the theory before we start diving

2. Confined Water Dives

The confined water dives are conducted in shallow water and this is where your instructor will teach you all the skills needed to be a safe and competent diver.

We generally do the confined water skills in the ocean (it is just like a swimming pool, but more interesting) and you will often have some curious onlookers (our beautiful reef fish) watching and learning with you

3. Open Water Dives

Once you have done the skills in the shallow water, it is time to put them to the test and head to some deeper water and explore the beautiful reefs around Siquijor.

Don't worry, we go at a pace that you are comfortable and we will support you the whole way.

Now lets go and have some fun!
